PENCIL's signature fundraising event, A Little Night of Music, is a unique collaboration with Creative Artists Agency that builds a bridge between the music industry and support for public education in Nashville. In 14 years, this intimate event has raised more than $1.5 million for PENCIL and the work we do for Metro Nashville Public School students.
Guests will enjoy cocktails, dinner and a silent auction before joining the artists, curated by CAA, ON THE STAGE of the world famous Grand Ole Opry House for a very special concert.
PENCIL is proud to be Nashville's first nonprofit dedicated to public education and the 85,000 students now attending MNPS. Established in 1982, PENCIL is Nashville's educational anchor institution with the mission of linking community resources with public schools to help young people achieve academic success and prepare for life. By recruiting and engaging more than 600 PENCIL Partners between businesses and schools, PENCIL is one of the nation's largest examples for school-community partnerships.
